Located in one of England’s key transport and commercial hubs, this project supports a booming e-commerce business. With online shopping demand rising fast, efficient, accurate delivery has become a top priority. The client faced increasing pressure during peak periodsβ€”manual sorting simply couldn’t keep up.

To address these challenges, Wayzim Technology provided a Narrow Belt Sorting System designed for both flexibility and performance.

This intelligent solution features top scan cameras, centering SmartlogitecX conveyors, 146 carriers, and 17 discharge points, enabling stable high-speed sorting even at peak times. The system supports two operating speeds (1.1 m/s and 1.5 m/s), automatically adjusting based on parcel characteristicsβ€”improving throughput while reducing mis-sorting.

Additionally, the space-saving conveyor layout with turning sections ensures optimal use of floor space, minimizing unnecessary expansion and operational costs.

Belt conveyors played a vital role in enabling smooth, fast, and stable parcel transport across the SmartlogitecX sorting system.
